Welcome to the TechJobWeb!
The Louisiana Tech University Career Center is utilizing TechJobWeb, powered by the Experience eRecruiting Network. This system provides you with the newest technology to facilitate your professional job search. Features include the following:
*On-line job listings
*On-campus interview scheduling program
*Résumé books
*Job and employer folders to manage your job search activities
*E-mail communications about job opportunities
*Career research information including industry/city/career profiles, career advice, and salary data.
To register for the TechJobWeb, come by the Career Center, Keeny Hall, 337, to obtain your user name and password. You must also complete and sign a Records Release Authorization to participate in the system.
Once you have received a user name and password, you can enter the system to complete the "Profile" component, upload your résumé in the "Documents" component, and publish your résumé to one or more of the "Résumé Books." A Student Guide is provided as an overview of the instructions to complete your profile, upload your résumé, publish your résumé, apply for positions, and select interview time slots. After completing your registration, you should check the "Jobs and Internships," "Events," and "Calendar" components.
PLEASE NOTE: When you choose to utilize TechJobWeb, you are granting the Louisiana Tech University Career Center permission to release your information, including your résumé and unofficial transcript, to prospective employers who are recruiting at Louisiana Tech. Your Experience eRecruiting profile and résumé should be reviewed and updated quarterly to ensure that employers are receiving your current information. Once you have accepted a job, please remove your résumé and other documents from the system.
